The BIOSTARS project took part in the MED Talks – 3rd Edition, held online on 16 December 2025, a key Euro-Mediterranean event aimed at strengthening dialogue, cooperation and knowledge exchange between stakeholders from both shores of the Mediterranean.
Co-organised by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and the Union for the Mediterranean, MED Talks brings together flagship projects to showcase results, share best practices and explore synergies across programmes and regions. This third edition focused on the progress and transfer of solutions developed by Governance and Thematic Projects contributing to four key Missions: a more innovative and sustainable economy, protection of natural environment and heritage, greener living areas, and sustainable tourism.
During the session, BIOSTARS engaged in dedicated networking spaces, including B2B meetings in breakout rooms, reinforcing collaboration with other Euro-Mediterranean initiatives and exploring complementarities with programmes such as Interreg NEXT MED.
Participation in MED Talks reflects BIOSTARS’ ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and social transformation in rural Mediterranean areas, while actively contributing to a more connected, resilient and sustainable Euro-Mediterranean ecosystem.
